ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR
Hi, my name is Ella Chang. I am a coach and licensed mental health counselor and the founder of All Things Korean. I created All Things Korean with the desire to connect Koreans to their motherland through exploring history, culture, and language, so that they can discover their unique identity, and ultimately feel more at home within themselves. I believe that everyone has their own unique identity that is always evolving. When it comes to my Korean identity, I have found that my life experience has mostly reflected a sense of sitting right on top of the hyphen between the term Korean-American. I am also currently exploring what it means to be a person of the global Korean diaspora where my identity derives meaning from my community, relationships, and who I am as a person, rather than being defined by a physical place.
